Kangaroo Backpackers, Sydney is a clean, friendly hostel which provides budget accommodation to international travelers from Europe, Asia and the Americas. The hostel contains can host up to forty guests in mixed dormitory rooms which means it benefits from a personal touch, a social atmosphere and regular parties, pub crawls, boat trips and other activities organized by the hostel staff.
The hostel is ideally located for reaching any part of Sydney. It's a short walk from the Central Business District (CBD), the Sydney Harbor Bridge, the Sydney Opera House, Chinatown, Darling Harbor - and it's just a short trip on public transport to the beaches.
The hostel is situated within the shadow of Sydney Cricket Ground where many famous sporting events take place including the Ashes cricket test, regular Aussie Rules Football (AFL), international and domestic rugby league and rugby union fixtures which can be viewed in the stadium or in several surrounding sports bars. If you want to get away from it all across the road is Centennial Park which provides acres of pristine parkland and serene lakes perfectly suited for walking, jogging or other exercise, picnics, relaxing or take advantage of some of the facilities such as tennis courts or cafes.
In addition, Sydney international airport (Kingsford-Smith) is easily accessible via Central station.
